We are glad to inform that various critical equipment’s from our Principal OEM M/s. MacGregor have been supplied to the latest state-of-the-art, 500 Pax-cum-150 ton Cargo vessel M/v. SINDHU owned by Andaman & Nicobar
Administration . The vessel was recently handed over by Cochin Shipyard to its owner in March 2021.
The vessel is fitted with 18 Ton SWL Crane from MacGregor Sweden that will be used for handling 20” containers , pallets and other heavy cargoes . A 2 tons SWL knuckle Boom telescopic folding Hiab Sea Crane will be used for
handling provision and other general cargoes. A weather deck hydraulic folding hatch cover from MacGregor Finland is fitted at the aft of the vessel to keep the perishable and dry cargo safe during monsoon and rains.
The vessel is also fitted with anchor windlass and mooring winches from MacGregor Hatlapa Germany for safe anchoring and mooring operations during berthing . Lastly the starting air and service air compressors from
MacGregor Hatlapa Germany will be used for the very important starting air required for the Main Engine and other ancillary equipment that require service air.
